Engineers working on the redevelopment of Birmingham New Street station lifted in the first sections of the Moor Street link over the weekend.

Tickets and information

The main ticket office is on the concourse and tickets are also available from the ticket machines on the main concourse.

There are also automatic ticket machines next to Customer Reception and inside the doors of the Navigation Street entrance.

The travel centre is open 07.00-21.00 and ticket counters are open Monday - Saturday 24 hours - Sunday from 07.30

Toilets, showers and baby changing

The entrance to the toilets is on the station platform link bridge, off the main concourse. They are open Monday to Saturday 24 hours and Sunday from 07.00. Baby changing facilities are adjacent to the ladies toilets.

Left luggage and lost property

Left luggage is a secure place where you can leave items of luggage for collection later. The left luggage and lost property office is on the main concourse opposite the station reception.

British Transport Police

There is a British Transport Police station outside the main station entrance past the shops. They can be contacted on 0800 40 50 40. For more information, visit the British Transport Police website.

Cash and bureau de change

There are several cash dispensers on the main station concourse and you can buy foreign currency at Eurochange.

Photo booths

There are a number of photo booths at the station for passports, travel passes and other identity documents.

Trolleys

There are no luggage trolleys available at Birmingham New Street station.
